Tobramycin 0.3% Eye Drops are a formulation of aminoglycoside antibiotics. It prevents the growth of bacterial infection in the eyes and reduces the symptoms related to it. Chemical Name of Tobramycin 0.3% Eye Drops:
O-{3-amino-3-deoxy-α-D-gluco-pyranosyl-(1→4)}-O-{2,6-diamino-2,3,6-trideoxy-α-D-ribohexo-pyranosyl-(1→6)}-2- deoxystreptamine.
Active: tobramycin 0.3% (3 mg).
Inactives: Sodium sulfate, water for injection, boric acid, tyloxapol, sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide, and/or sulfuric acid to adjust pH (7.0 to 8.0).
Preservative: benzalkonium chloride 0.01% (0.1 mg).
